Thank you so much for your support. It is ironic to receive this letter tonight. I just spent the evening on a patrol through
a nearby city. While on patrol we ran across several small children, from three to eight years of age. My squad had a few
toys that were shipped to us from home, so we handed them out to the babies. It turns out that I had just enough toys with
me to give almost all of the children a toy. Just as I was handing out the last one, I looked down and saw the tiniest little
girl with her baby fingers sticking up through the crowd of excited munchkins. Unfortunately she did not get a toy, which
was almost a bigger disappointment for us than her. I arrived home tonight to a letter from Patricia and Christine at www.beaniebabyambassador.com.
In this letter, Christine, explained that we have 3 packages from The Sammy Brown Library, and a package from Kathy K filled
with very helpful comfort items. Apparently The Sammy Brown Library has donated 3 boxes of beanie babies for the little Iraqis
we may encounter. Thank you very much for this support. The children here are one of the biggest motivators that many of
us have to continue doing what we do. Anything that we can do to help these little ones is a phenomenal morale booster, and
we appreciate the support in this endeavor.
