Three boxes arrived today!!!
Thank you ever so much for the boxes of Beanie Babies and the magazines and hygiene items!!! The Beanie Babies will go to
our Volunteer Community Relations (VCR) program for distribution to needy Afghan kids. We've made some tremendous progress
with our VCR program in the last year and we know we are making a difference in the lives of so many poor and needy Afghan
families. Christine, please thank all of your volunteers and those that donate to your program for helping in sending these
items to us. Their efforts will allow us to make a difference in an Afghan family or child's life which means that they too
(your volunteers) are making a difference.
Please thank Ms Rachel M and her family for donating the toys to our VCR program. Please let her know that the toys she sent
will certainly help to bring a smile to an Afghan child.
Ms Christina C. also needs to be thanked from us for donating the contents of the "Care Package." I will keep the shampoo
she sent as I use that brand/type and was beginning to run low. What perfect timing!
