Dear Patricia,
I received two boxes of Beanie Babies the other day and they were fantastic! Thank you so much for your consideration
of our missions. The support from back home has been tremendous, thanks to remarkable citizens like you. It is this kind
of support that makes us proud to serve and keeps the Marines HIGHLY MOTIVATED!!
The children love the beanie babies. They just can’t get enough of them. The smile on their innocent little
faces is priceless. Hopefully they will continue to experience the same joy without fear or intimidation and have the freedom
that our kids have in the States. I feel that we are making a difference here and know that things are going in the right
direction. We are winning this thing with the support, generosity, and considerations from all the wonderful folks back home.
The Marines are well and staying very busy. We appreciate your support in our missions. The Marines continues to
conduct themselves in a highly professional manner and enjoys helping out the Iraqis. This deployment is certainly more enjoyable
than our previous trips here.
Thanks again for your thoughts, prayers, and considerations.
