"I have been having a lot of fun handing out beanie babies to the kids. I have a 2 and 1/2 year old boy myself. I love kids. It is a shame to see kids getting hurt and have to live in fear thru conflicts thru out the world.

When I come up to the kids at the check points, I can see uncertainty in their faces and once I hand them the beanie babies it turns to a surprise look then to a happy one with big smiles. It even makes the parents smile. It also turns a stressful situation at the check point into a less stressful one.

I was getting patted on the back from the Iraqi army working by our sides saying how nice it was doing this for the kids. It makes everyone happy including myself.

Thank you for your support in sending me the beanie babies. It did make a difference."
