Thank you for the boxes. The Beanie Babies were a hit! All the kids loved them, even some of the Afghan police and Egyptian nurses loved them too. So far its gotten the best reaction out of the people here. It just goes to show you that Beanie Babies are their own universal language. Its really good to see the locals who live in poverty get to enjoy some of the luxuries we take for granted. They really appreciate everything we have to give (All the way down to Tooth Brushes and Soap). We go to the Egyptian hospital every Sunday and visit with the locals and their children. Its almost therapeutic for us to do these things and interact with the people here. Its nice to see that no matter where in the world you see that are kids are kids and they play the same games and enjoy the same things we did when we were kids. The hospital staff sends their thanks as well. Well I hope that this email finds you well and let the Zimmerman Family and Diane B. know that we are grateful for their donations.
