Thank you for the goodies that you have sent me. I was notified by email that the boxes did arrive Djibouti safely. They will be sent to me here
in Ethiopia on the next available military flight. I have linked up with the school here in Tolay, Ethiopia. The last batch of toys and candies were distributed to the students 4 weeks ago. I will send you photos once my yahoo email is back in operation or when I end up going to the nation's capital, Addis Ababa to pick up the packages and redistribute to the school again. Every student last time ended up with something to take home be it candy, school supplies or toys. They were all very happy. If you look at the map of Ethiopia, I am 168 kilometers south west of Addis Ababa. It is in the mountains and is very isolated. This is probably the best deployment in my 17 years in the military. This time I get to teach, and pass on what "America" is all about. I know this, because I am an immigrant myself. Thanks to all of your support we as a nation can give and show that we are not a bad people and that we do care as a nation and as a family.
